And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God.

1 KING 18: 39

All the people saw it happen and fell on their faces in awed worship, exclaiming, “God is the true God! God is the true God!”

And when all the people saw it, they fell face down on the ground and cried out, “The Lord—he is God! Yes, the Lord is God!”

FATHER GOD, BY ENCOUNTER WITH YOUR MERCY, LET THE EVENTS AND HAPPENINGS OF OUR LIFE TODAY MAKE ALL MEN TO WORSHIP YOU AND DECLARE THAT YOU ARE THE TRUE GOD.(AMEN)

For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

Romans 15:4

Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled.

Even if it was written in Scripture long ago, you can be sure it’s written for us. God wants the combination of his steady, constant calling and warm, personal counsel in Scripture to come to characterize us, keeping us alert for whatever he will do next. 

FATHER GOD, BY THE PROVISION OF THE SCRIPTURES, I RECEIVE HOPE, ENCOURAGEMENT, COUNSEL AND GRACE TO BE SENSITIVE TO WHAT YOU WILL DO NEXT IN MY LIFE & DESTINY IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST. (AMEN)
