And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
AMPLIFIED
But if Christ lives in you, [then although] your [natural] body is dead by reason of sin and guilt, the spirit is alive because of [the] righteousness [that He imputes to you].

And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life Or your spirit is alive. because you have been made right with God.

But if Christ lives in you, the Spirit is life for you: or your spirit is alive. because you have been put right with God, even though your bodies are going to die because of sin.
