Now every athlete who goes into training conducts himself temperately and restricts himself in all things. They do it to win a wreath that will soon wither, but we [do it to receive a crown of eternal blessedness] that cannot wither.
GOOD NEWS TRANSLATION
Every athlete in training submits to strict discipline, in order to be crowned with a wreath that will not last; but we do it for one that will last forever
NEW LIVING TRANSLATION
All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize
WIN TODAY’S THOUGHTS
1 – Spiritual Discipline here means ability to drive, motivate, and push ones-self do what is needful, important, necessary as DICTATED BY GOD’S WORD, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT especially when it is not convenient This is called SELF-DISCIPLINE. or SELF CONTROL.
2 – Spiritual Discipline (SELF CONTROL) maybe painful and humiliating in the moment but the dividend brings every good things of life and ultimately eternity with Jesus Christ.
3 – Self-control means you have your life and destiny in control. (and that you are moving in the direction of God to reach your glorious destination in God. To lack self-control or Spiritual Discipline is to lose the control of the direction of your life and destiny.
4- AREAS WEAKNESS, ERRORS, EXCUSES and FAILURES are simply revealing WHERE your need to be more SPIRITUALLY DISCIPLINED.
THEREFORE -Spiritual Discipline is a non-negotiable requirement for High level and long-lasting Productivity, Success, Victory and Prosperity in every aspect of human endeavors
WIN TODAY’S PRAYER
Thank you Mighty God for unfolding greater dimensions of your blessing to us day by day.
Now, in the name of Jesus Christ, receive grace to be absolutely committed to high level Spiritual discipline and training on a daily basis. Every Satanic and Human force working against you loose their hold over your life forever. Be empowered by the Holy Spirit to be disciplined in your spirit, soul, body, words, finances etc and pay the required price for the prize of the glorious life God has ordained and destined for you in Jesus name

The Holy Spirit is my coach, therefore, I decree and declare that I will submit to His training everyday by addictive meditation on God’s Word, Prayers and absolute Obedience to God instructions at all time. I am eternally committed to SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINE on a daily basis. I will always win the PRIZE of a glorious life and destiny because I pay the PRICE of DISCIPLINE every day
